Dr. Xue is the Principal Investigator of a grant in developing improved statistical methods for controlling confounders and effect modifications in occupational radiation studies. She was also the principal investigator of a grant in developing statistical methods to correct for measurement errors for occupational radiation studies, which she finished in 2005. In general, Dr. Xue’s methodological research interest includes survival analysis, longitudinal studies and measurement error models. Her collaborative research interest includes application of statistical methods in cancer research, cardiovascular disease and aging studies.
