Faculty research in the Division includes assessment of lifestyle and community environmental determinants of health-related biomarkers, investigation of psychological, behavioral and socio-cultural factors that improve health outcomes and coping with acute illness and chronic disease, investigation of the precision of lifestyle assessment instruments, investigation of mind-body interventions, and assessment of the clinical and cost effectiveness of behavioral interventions for preventing and treating obesity.
